I'm sure it flies better, but for me (as a non-competitive pilot) the looks of the Miss Wind still give it the edge. Shallow aren't I!

Technically it's JRAmerica.
I've been unable to buy the 2m Prometheus biplane from them; they didn't even know what plane I was talking about .
I really miss Jason M as the importer.
JR is a complete mess.

I have my doubts weather JR A will continue to bankroll the inventory required to maintain distrubtorship, I received an email 2 weeks ago with blowout sale prices on in stock Sebarts. At or below dealer cost.

Not a great way to protect your dealer network.

I don't miss Jason M. one bit! JRAmerica may be suffering startup problems but at least they aren't a bunch of dead beats!

Hi,
It will be very interesting to see how the PrometheuS 50E biplane will fly and at what speed.
We just had the Swedish Championships F3A here and the winner flew a 2M PrometheuS biplane with a Hacker Adverrun AVR15 contra (belt driven) and it flew nice and slow. I do not know if it exist any contra for 50 seize pattern planes but it would probably be a good alterative in a plane such as PromethoS 50E biplane.
If this 50 size contra will be available on the market in the future it might be suitable:

I'm sure the recommended Hacker A50-16S V4 motor will work fine also. It is a very nice motor (I have it, but the slightly older version V2, in my Wind S 50E monoplane).

/Bo

I saw the PT contra drive for 50e, would be nice if it comes to market.

I have a new A50 16s V4 to go in it initially, will see how it goes, I am going to jump the queue on this one and get it finished before I touch the miss wind 50e that I bought a couple of months ago.

I have been trying to find a nice 50e sized spinner but the only thing I can find is buying one from tru-turn in the USA and importing it over. Need 3 now, for the fleet. How come no one does a nice Carbon spinner in 50 size.
