Thanks Willj,
Building this model really tests one's endurance and creates a lot of frustration. It's really too bad that Billings couldn't come up with a better hull as the one provided is very flimsy. If I had to do it all over again I would use this hull as a plug and make a fiberglass mold and then a fiberglass hull. Oh well, on with the next project.

I had a good look at your build Dr. Ron. You are quite thorough in your building. I like your
method of boxing around the drive-shaft entry holes and filling with epoxy and bordering with silicone. I am going to use your method. It`s one of those areas I did not fully finish. I was not sure the best way to avoid water coming in at those sensitive areas. Now I know. Thanks.
Nice wiring too. I`ve always been a little confused by it all.

Awesome work as always guys!

I have finally again started work on my Calypso that I bought two years ago!

For those of you who remember, I'm a fast builder, and not too hooked on details.

Got some small things done today, but I've pretty much spent two evenings painting, and watching paint dry.

Building the dive platform...

Got some small stuff made yesterday, but most of the evening was spent painting again....

Chimney is getting closer to done, not done yet though.

The dive platform is done. Simplified the railing a bit, as I didn't see the point making it too complicated.

And some more progress today, spent some 4 hours building.

Time well spent on railing.
