Question

FS-iT4S advanced features and receiver questions

I've got ordered a brand new FS-iT4S.
Before it arrives,
  • It is advertized as PPM out via USB HID. Where to tap this signal as it lacks a standard 3.5mm barrel socket for it - is there any possibility to get a useable PPM signal out of this TX?
  • I'm interested in the FS-BS4 receivers to get the smart vehicle control feature. Unfortunately I wasn't able to source any of these receivers. Any pointers?
Thanks
-mike-

Hey, sorry we had some time off for Chinese New Year, please have a look here https://www.facebook.com/flyskyrc/ph...type=3&theater you should be able to find an alternative with more channels. The BS4 didn't sell too well so I believe (most people went for more channels), for the moment anyway, that it is out of production.

Thanks for the feedback.
Unfortunatley its not a question of more channels but the unique gyro system I'm interested in.
AFAIK none of your other receivers has this feature built in besides the BS4.
Correct?

Duh sorry I mixed it up with an older receiver. I will get some info for you tomorrow.

I am not sure if there are any plans to fill that gap but I assume there is.

Flysky BS-4

Had there been an update on the fs-bs4 receiver or is there a receiver with the gyro and throttle control for cars. I have the fs-it4s also.

Just buy the cheap SkyRC gyro and plug it in channel 3 or 4. You can adjust steering limits from the device and remotely control the gain.

nulli, nice to mention that gyro! It works indeed as a charm - but it may be a bit a problem to find a mounting space at smaller scale cars.
That's exactly what happened with my P929 pimp out approach.
Unfortunately even for the GC301 wasn't enough space, so I had to use the cheaper GYC300 as it is mounted vertical.
Now as I found a local source for the BS-4 i could replace the GT-2 and the gyro, but I'm just to lazy to do that. This particular toy works good as is. No need to change anything.

Tarius, depending from your location from you may order a rebranded BS-4 at conrad.de. No international shipping there, though.

As a final line:
The FS-iT4S does its job remarkably well - no fuss, no hiccups, no modding needed, no nothing.
Best buy this year for me.

Mike, have you tried the Reely BS-4 from Conrad?

That will most likely work. Nice find.

Also, I noticed the Reely GT4 EVO is a rebranded iT4S.

I didn't buy it in the end (see above why), but I was talking to a Conrad sales rep who gave me the hint.
And he also told me the same as nulli found out about the GT4 Evo.
Only downside with the Reely TX rebrand: It's not hardware compatible to FlySky original firmware FS-iT4S-CN.
But that doesn't matter anyways, as there's no update needed or offered since.

Edit: Maybe the FS-iT4S-TM firmware is compatible to the Reely TX, I've just checked and found it published 2017-8-17

I wonder if there's a compatible high voltage (7.4V) receiver?
