likely see it go for close to $70. A mint AME 3 port engine can go
for over 100 these days on ebay.

That's about right, price wise. Engines go for a little more before Christmas and during tax season.
But you'll get a lot more than $50 worth of enjoyment running it, even if it's just on a bench. What would you do with $50, waste it on a dinner out that will be flushed a day or two later?
