Specifications:
•Dimension: 36×36×6mm (L × W × H) with 30.5mm mounting holes
•Hardware: STM32F303 CPU (72Mhz inc FPU), MPU9250 (accelerometer/gyro/compass), and
BMP280 barometer for F3E
•Weight: 6g
•Channels: 16CH (8CH is RSSI) by SBUS to UART2 Rx of F3E, Smart Port of XSR to UART3 Tx of F3E
•Operating Voltage Range: 4.0~10V
•Operating Current: 200mA@5V
•Compatibility: FrSky Taranis X9D/X9D-Plus/X9E/ Horus X12S/XJT in D16 mode
•Firmware Upgradeable

Features:
• Built-in F3E and XSR receiver module
• Features the latest Accelerometer, Gyro and Compass and Baro sensor technology
• XSR receiver is a full duplex telemetry receiver, it will receive the commands of radio and send to F3E by SBUS (8CH is RSSI) to UART2 Rx of F3E, it can also send telemetry information back to radio by smart port
• After configuration, you can use the FrSky X9D/X9D-Plus/X9E radio (wireless) to set the PID parameters for XSRF3E
• 6 PWM output signal lines for ESCs and Servos. Arranged for easy wiring on standard pin headers

Software:
•The F3E runs the open-source Cleanflight/ Betaflight flight control (FC) software and firmware upgradeable
(SPRACINGF3EVO), the factory firmware is betaflight_3.0.1_XSRF3E
•The XSR receiver runs the software which was developed by FrSky and firmware upgradeable

Does the telemetry output the internal sensors of the XSRF3E?

Where would I connect on XSRF3E the to get S-Bus output to get some more channels, the specs. says it is a 16 channel receiver? Is the "UART" in the upper right UART 2?

Seems to be so. You should get telemetry values from F3E to Taranis.

UART or UART2 - it is not clear. Should be checked. Maybe that it is UART2 or UART3. But both shoud be busy - UART2 used for receiver and UART3 for telemetry.

I don't really think that you can get the SBUS channels out of the receiver for external devices. Only through PWM outputs of F3E, unless you would find the trace that carries SBUS to F3E and take it in parallel from there.

The SP Racing F3 EVO has 3 dedicated UARTS; UART 1, UART 2, and UART 3. If the one that is marked UART is UART 2 then with some luck the Rx pin would be S-Bus out from the receiver part. (I hope, as I want another channel).

I have never seen unnumbered UARTS (when there is more then 1) or ones marked "0" . So I am cautiously optimistic; but I could be wrong.

What I found interesting however Frsky refers, on this receiver + controller, to a F3E controller, not a F3 Evo (liked they did on the F3EVO like they did on the XMPF3E.

Either way I want at least one.

PS. DATOS, I really like that Blue Frsky transmitter.

Hi, does integrated XSR in XSRF3E combo uses some special XSR FW or standalone XSRs FW can be used?

Update:
XSR in XSRF3E combo uses special XSR FW, get it from here:
frsky web - FW tab

There is nothing on frsky web in FW tab
No. It has its own FW. If you flash it with regular XSR FW - you'll no longer be able to bind and might burn down your RX

Thanks for quick answer. Do you have or know where I can find nonEU FW for it?

You should wait for the CNY to end (5th of Feb), PM me and I'll get the FW for you from FrSKY. I have XSRF3E FCC version but there is no way to make a dump for you.
