Just curious, but why would you attempt to launch at a 1/4 throttle? I don't mean this disrespectfully or anything, just wondering why.

So I might have flown the EFXTRA today.
It did not disappoint! There is proof:

Nice flying !
Have they re-enforced the wing compared to the first model ? I added two 4.5 mm carbon fiber rods across the middle cause I'm going 6S looking for 150 mph. |

That looks a lot better than the first model, might just buy a spare wing when parts become available. |

Excellent review Tomsky! Thanks for your thorough evaluation.

Thanks Tom, as always an enjoyable review. Looking forward to seeing more on it.
As for the wing, we have improved/extended spars to strengthen the wing, most notably the LE main spars are now one piece and go right across the center of the wing. S. |

Nice video.. Made me want one even more ha ha..
Gonna' have to try that blender thing. Nice one... |

Just for the record the manouver that I saw Tom doing in the video was a tumble. A blender is a spinning vertical dive with a snap at the bottom as close to the ground as you dare.

Not to split hairs but in a pop top the plane will stay upright and level with the ground while rotating around its own axis. Sort of like a flat spin at the crest of an upward movement. Honestly it is difficult to see in the head cam video. Since you were there I say we go with your description.
