The price is very reasonable if you consider it's plug and play, includes the Aura (valued at$99), servos, motor and esc.
A bare airframe would easily go for $100 then all the other goodies, pre-installed no less, tells me the price of $309 is very reasonable, if not an all out bargain.
Also, it's white and not painted so it won't suffer from paint rash that most painted foamies are susceptible to .
I'm just curious about the LG, what it's made of and how it's mounted.
If it's metal wire, that would be a deal killer for me.
I much prefer CF.

Plus I might consider hopping it up with an 800kv motor and go 4s

edit: dang... it's got wire landing gear. I can see in that first pic of QQ holding the plane. But he sure does fly it well.

Keep in mind this one has SIX digital servos, a 50A ESC, more wings, etc.
The 4 Aileron servos are needed to really make it great...

Looks like a simple Spetrum DSMX Remote RX satellite is all you need to support signal to the Aura 8. Do you need any special cables or do you simply plug into a satellite port on the Aura 8?

It's funny. I was just thinking to myself a week or so ago how nice it would be to have a smaller Mamba. Then wallah. They did it again. Great looking plane with a great price to boot. Some will say it is priced high for a foamy. Consider all that it comes with, Aura 8, MG digital servos, motor, ESC. All installed and plug and play. May have to save up some pennies and get this one for my fleet.

Question for David and QQ. Will this have a 4s option like the Extra 300?

You just plug 1 or 2 DSMX sats into the Aura8, bind, and you are good to go. No special cables needed.

You can make it 4s by changing motor. All info here http://www.flexinnovations.com/product-p/fpm3270.htm
