It's a 440 watt motor on a 1 meter wingspan wing, I don't expect the thing to do much over 100mph.

I'm not sure how big a "racing wing" race course is, 100mph may be plenty.

I like the swappable pod idea, you could do a pod for
1) long range FPV, small-ish low kv motor
2) racing, big high kv motor
3) slope soaring, tiny high kv motor and folding prop

That's a little overkill for just an osd, great product, just not quite what I'm looking for

I agree,
all you need is that CCD camera (Arrow v2), it comes with a "Timer" and "flight Lipo Voltage".

I really like having current and rssi though, plus regulated power supplies to not depend on a bec. Spring is months away here in Canada, I have lots of time to decide

I'm on the fence. This is really what i'm looking for as i don't really have to do much assembly. I love the wiring (I'm a quad guy) but the glue part I can't stand....lol

I've got a spare x4r, FPV cam, VTX (Cricket) and a couple of 1800 packs I don't use.

Video notes 130mph?? If i were to get just the kit, what ESC motor for all out speed would you all recommend (and prop).

Thanks!

the recco power setup is a Cobra 2217/2300 with a 50-60A ESC. on a 6x4 prop, that should get up and go!

I've got a spare X4r but i like having a spare for my quads. I know this just came out so looking to hear thoughts on using this on the alatus.

Seems like a good match?

I have a couple of S6Rs at the house and have yet to get them to work properly. There is a super long thread here on RCG about that receiver. If you can read through it and get it to work as many others have, it would be awesome on a wing.

cricket push button hole?

I pre-ordered the kit version as I had everything but the motor sitting in my parts bin.

Do you think the hole engineered for the Cricket push button would fit an SMA antenna pigtail and allow it to clamp down in that hole?
