Battery alarm, meter, and balance cable extender

I am building into the Timber and other models a low voltage alarm. To ensure I am not flying below 15% capacity remaining I use the CellMeter8 meter. To extend the balance cable I use an extender for the type of pack (3S,4S etc)
Here is where I purchase them.

This seems to be the best deal and has the alarm set voltage range from 2.7 -3.8 volts. I set mine to 3.8 volts. This gives me time for another minute of Timber flying before landing. I have the talking countdown timer on my DX6 that also helps.

I plug in my CellMeter 8 and that shows me the average capacity of the Timber 3S pack. I pull the pack out and recharge at 15% capacity remaining. I stop charging at around 90% capacity. So I'm using 75% of the total capacity but the pack life is extended.

Bangood sells the meter for $9 here:

To place the low voltage alarm further away than the 2-3" long battery cable I use the 6.1" extender here: I order the extenders for 3S, 4S, 5S, and 6S.
