Weird Things That Fly

Over the years I have seen many weird, odd and funny planes that the laws of physics say they should not fly, but do. I have built some of them because I like the odd stuff.
This week Gord, aka flypaper2 posted his " Bigfoot rotorooter" and got me thinking....there should be a thread just for this stuff.
For example there is Otto's many creations from his fly guy to his phone booth. I made a Geobat from, darn, forgot who designed that one....have to look it up later, anyways, I hope others will join in and post pics and links to builds here so others with warped mines can also enjoy them.
The holiday season will keep me from posting as much as I like right now but after the new year I'll get into my computer and post what I have.

Well, here's my happiest flier, Buba. flies very well. Loops and rolls and that basic stuff. When I get his size 13 shoes at the right angle, he'll take off vertically.
The ears are wheel so the landings aren't so abrupt.
Oops!! this a pic before I put the wheels on his ears.
Here he is with his shirt and pants laundered and a new set of ears.
Gord.

I did an old Cox .049 on a block of wood with a shop towel. We had no idea where it was going to go. What a good time when you are young. No photos to share as that was pre cell phone time.

That was called the Rag Time Flying Machine, I think, from a book/magazine article by Ken Willard. Had lots of fun with them at our weekly 1/2A CL combat meets many moons ago.

Here's my RotoRooter, a 15 sized IC powered autogyro that flew great. The original was a smaller 1/2A powered version.

Great thread Timbo! Looking forward to see what comes out of it.

I'll be waiting for Balsa or Carbon to post his flying foam scraps.
