Rotaro FPV frames!

Hello, all!

I'd like to share something that we, Rotaro, are proud of.
We're a small, Norway based group of FPV racers that always liked the idea of flying our own, custom equipment!
We all have a different idea of what the perfect frame should be, and it's interesting to us that equipment, styles and tunes can vary so much, yet be competitive.

It would be very cool if you would check out our little hideout at www.rotaro.no and especially our frames at https://rotaro.no/collections/frames

Here's some pictures - The ReaperBago, Twister and Doppler

I like the Doppler frame...

Any build pic`s ?? And what about mounting a HD cam to the frame (doppler)? A STL file on thingiverse.com would be nice :-)

Btw. Subscribed :-)

Hello, and thanks!

Here's a bunch of random photos A full buildguide is comming asap. We've designed a small mount for HD-cameras and we'll gladly share the file for it

Cool idea regarding the fpv mount :-) Looking forward to se the buildguide :-)

Regarding the HD mount.. do you just ziptie it ? And do you have enough space, to secure the hd cam with a velcro strap ?

Thank you! When the FPV camera is completely mounted, it's very locked in place. You could litterally pick the quad up by the lens and shake it and it wouldnt't move!

Regarding the HD-mount, it's as you thought, just ziptied to the frame with 4 zipties. There's room for a "slim" velcro strap as you can see in the attached rendering.

Thanks, yea - I love the "organic" look you get with a design like that. The cage is also super durable compared to a standoff/plate design.

Thank you!

Here's a link to the stl-file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l016nc26ns...mount.stl?dl=1

Recommend tpu or ninjaflex style filament

re: Doppler

I'm seeing type of frame is fast becoming the current trend in the racing frames market.

Pretty cool design.

Thanks! Yea, the standard double deck design can be cool, but there are so many other ways to design a good frame!
