1/4 Scale Sig Morrisey Bravo Build

This is a vintage kit long OOP from Sig. It's a kit I'm building for a fellow RCG member. Let's get started! Pics here are of the kit pieces being sorted and relevant parts for each area of the fuselage, wings, and tailfeathers, along with the FG parts and LG. The wing parts after being cleaned up and dry fitted before assembly. Sig must have cut down a small balsa as well as a spruce/pine forest to kit these!

Nice turbonut! Can you get any pics of it? I've never seen a full scale one anywhere outside a magazine.

Right wing construction...

Building begins, slinging glue now. Construction begins on the right wing panel. Spar construction and inner/outer construction is a bit different from most conventional building. The wing starts out the same thickness, then around halfway it begins a double taper to the tip. I hope the pictures show what I'm talking about.

What model Cessna is yours? I thought it looked like a 150? I thought I spotted a Luscombe Silveraire also?
