The all new Tower Hobbies Sport GP/EP ARF features lines reminiscent of the Kaos sport airplane, but with modern styling. The Sport can be outfitted with either an electric motor or nitro engine, and has a semi-symmetrical airfoil with a slight amount of dihedral. It comes with fixed tricycle landing gear, fiberglass cowl, and a 1-piece wing. The Sport retails for $119.99 and requires all electronics.

I wonder if it has enough rudder authority for good stall-turns? Looks like it will be easy to extend the rudder if I need more.
Other than that it looks like a nice design. I have their Kaos 60 and had forgotten how much better I like trike gear. In the old days most all good aerobatic airplanes had trike gear but now days the trend is taildraggers. . |

Looks like a nice airplane so I ordered one. I need a good sport aerobatic airplane that smaller than my Kaos 60.

I purchased one and have it ready to fly when the weather/snow clears. The price has dropped to under $100 on this one already.

For anyone waiting for the metal gear servos that fit the stock mount I just got a notice that they are back in stock. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...01p??&I=LXFWGS
They are excellent for any application where you need lots of torque at a reasonable weight. They have more power than standard servos and save weight. . |

I have had mine in the air a couple times now ( 11 flights total) and its a really nice flying plane. 1st time out I had it on snow skis (Dubro) and it did well. CG is easy to hit and I have been using a .32 G Force motor 4s batteries 2400-4000 and a 80amp esc. Right now I have been using a old Dynam 12x6 prop that I had and it does well on that. a 13in prop would be the limit. Its my 1st ARF that I built and I'm very happy with it and got several comments from other pilots that it seems to be a nice flying plane.
