This one is small, easy to build, and great fun:

If it flies - I want one!

Thank you!

Thanks Thomas, have been waiting for this since you posted over in Scratchbuilt Foamies.
I think I need to build one of these.
Was not able to find the plans in the downloads yet, though Jupiter Junior (mine is still going strong) is there.
Has it gone on the website yet?
Cheers,
PeteM

Thanks again - plan downloaded, printed and stuck together - the margin lines make it easy!

Many thanks! You build some wonderful planes, but is there any chance of un-tiled plans?

Hey, watch this!

I've been playing with model airplanes for over 50 years - FF, CL, R/C - but never off water - yet. This Jupiter Duck is "quacking" at me.

Alas, I don't care for Depron and prefer FFF if I build with foam. Maybe actual balsa will work this time - I have plenty. But water-proofing becomes an issue. Hmmm.

By the way, thank you, Thomas for those groovy models you share with us. Keep 'em coming.

I'm lovin' Thomas's design philosophy, it carries over into all his models. The Duck looks and flies like a real champ, I like it, it's different.

We float fly every Monday of the year here. Wait ............. not today, ice on the lake. Shop day!

With a Duck all you need is a puddle.

Got one going together as we speak. Hope to have it ready for our clubs Frozen Finger Fun Fly up here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on New years Day. I will let you know how it works off the other kind of water, snow! I will also be using it for indoor flying along side my Jupiter Junoir. Also have the templates made up for your scout but this one comes first. BTW the junior flies great indoors!

Thank you for the plans!

Our Jan.1st event will be the 43rd annual New Years day 'Grub n' Grog' fly-in. Usually about 75 guys show up ........ snow, rain or shine, for lots of flying, lying and a nice warm basement full of food n' drink.

The long term sez sunny and warm. Ya gotta love the left coast in the winter.
