If you go through this thread (not too many posts) you will find all that you need to know to get her into the air.

As I have already posted the only problem that I found was getting her to Rise Off the Ground (ROG) in light or zero wind.

Hi. How did you set up the radio?

What mixing? Servo direction, etc.

Sorry no video of this test
Tried taxi on the grass but the wheels are too small and the model kept nosing over.
So gave it a hand launch, it felt OK but refused to climb and I had to land a short distance breaking the rudder off good job it was only taped on.
Back to the workshop changed the wheels and removed the down thrust spacers and re attached the fin and rudder.
Had one more flight and it was a lot better climbed no problem and will get some video for the next try today.

Use elevon mix in your transmitter and set the servos to give the following.

Stick back the head should tilt back

Stick left and right the head should tilt left and right

Joining the Luobo Club!

Hi all!

Ordered, built and flown mine! I love it!
I launch it or ROG if there is some wind.

There is a short video here:
Luobo V2 Autogyro from Banggood (2 min 50 sec)

Thank you all for the useful info I found in this thread.

I have rebuilt the tail with EPP and depron, the original one was very floppy and self-destroyed in the maiden.

One important point is that the photo for setting the pitch in the instructions is incorrect.
The rounded corner must be between the mast and the rotor arm (see attached photo).
This gave me some problems in the first flights (i.e. crashes) as the rotor was pitched too forward.

Other notes:
+ It is very robust, I crashed mine three times before setting the rotor pitch correctly and the Luobo survived the crashes with no problems. I crashed it twice in soft terrain and once in a tree.
- On imperfect landings sometimes the rotor hits the tail and it destroys the left vertical stabilizer.

Wish you happy flying and soft landings,
Raffaele

P.S. I am getting about 5 minutes of flight with a 3s 1300mAh. Which batteries do you use and how much time you get?
