The kit arrived at my mates house just before Christmas going to visit him next week and will have a good look and report back.
The spare blades I ordered arrived this morning and they look well made and perfectly covered
Chris they have a hardwood leading edge and all weighed the same also the balance point was spot on on all the blades

On photograph newblades (2) .JPG it is difficult to spot the hardwood leading edge. Isn't it a hardwood bottom you mean? The inner parts of the blades look a little mushy, true?

The hardwood part you see in the photo on the bottom is the thin plywood root reinforcement
I had to cut the covering to expose the construction, Im sure it has a hardwood leading edge and balsa trailing edge
We will find out for sure when we have our first oops landing

G'day all,
First time on this Forum. Just received one of these kits, rather like a jigsaw puzzle with no instructions.
Mainly laser cut plywood and slots together fairly well. Rotor blades have a hardwood leading edge and all weigh within 0.1 of a gram.
May have to modify the tail feathers, don't like the soft rubbery foam supplied.
Chris,
Neil T and I both have one, mine should be ready to test fly this week, weather permitting.
Will let you know how it goes or

G'day Mal I think that you'r heading in the right direction with this model. There pretty basic, but as long as you get your angles correct...should be OK
Any problems...................please ask.
Happy Landings
