Arado 555-3 Building instructions

Hi,

here are the building instructions for my small Arado 555-3, wingspan 1200mm / 47.2"

Remember that you need to download the files from http://members.chello.at/karla.poisinger/

Maybe this link helps, German modeller-speak expressions into French, English and Italian:

Greetings from Vienna, Josef

Josef and Bernie,
Thanks for the instructions!
Josef,
Might I ask why it is "desirable" to have the fiberglass weave showing? Just curious.

Hi J,

sorry, my English is not good enough to explain it.
The profile used is not a laminar one, so a rough surface is the better choice. Has to do something with Mr.Reynolds.

Maybe someone can help and explain this...

..seems noone can explain it

I have forgot to mention: if some of the pic's look rather "used" - the plane actually has 340 flights, around 35 hours airborne

you have to download the ZIP-file to your computer, extract all of the filles to the same directory, and it will work

Thinner Section

Hi Josef,

You seem to have gone for a thinner section on the large version of aircraft. Was there a reason for this?

Thanks

Thanks.

PM from Josef was advice for thinner section advice came from Nurfluegel Team and was likely for further reducing drag. Now building 9% 1200mm version (fits in the car!) foam core ducted fan.

Love the e430.
