I think the transmitter with trim buttons is for the version without GPS, the box is labeled as CG035PT

I added a video taken with the quads camera at the same time I was making the first video to Post #2. That is the 720P camera mounted without the gimbal.

I tried another video with the stock 720p camera, and it is just not working well. But I am thinking I might have damaged the camera by hooking up the power to the gimbal output on the quad. The camera got really hot when it was hooked up directly to that gimbal plug, hot enough to shut down. Bad thing is I really didn't do a good test on the camera before hooking it up there because I didn't like the gimbal.

I received the 3000mah spare battery from Banggood today so I did a little testing with it. The stock battery claims 3200mah on it's case.
First of all, the spare battery weighs 139.7 grams in the case compared to the stock battery at 131.6 grams, 8.1 grams heavier.
The spare battery appear to be a little longer, but can't tell for sure because of tape, cardboard, and foam. But it is definitely thicker, and does not have any shrink tube on the outside like the stock battery. With the top of the battery case off as in the pictures, the stock battery measures 15.3mm and the spare battery measures 16.3mm. There is no labeling on the spare battery on either side, neither brand or mahs. Not sure if you can tell the differences in the pictures.

Description:

The spare came charged to about 3.9volts per cell and has cell resistances of 7 and 5 ohms? I charged it on my Imax B6 and took it out for a moderate timed test flight similar to the test flight I timed at 14.5 minutes with the stock battery. No camera or prop guards installed, I timed the flight at 16.5 minutes. So the spare battery has more power than the stock battery even though the stock battery is rated higher.
I am recharging the spare now and will see how many mahs are put back in from 3.7 volts per cell.

That spare battery finished charging but I forgot to look at how long it took.
The Imax B6 put 2805mahs back into the battery, the battery was at 3.7volts when I started charging. I am not sure, but it looks to me like the spare battery is higher than 3000mah.

Thanks for the update siriusflier. The spare battery looks a lot like the one which come with the 1080p version my friends have. Mine is the original one (with the red prop cap) and the battery is blue with 3200mAh marking like yours.

I the battery took 2805mah and at 3.7 volts was depleted by 80%, that would mean it is actually about a 3500mah battery.

"16.44 mins with no props"? Seems like the battery would last longer with no props.
I take it you meant no prop guards.
Sounds like you may have the newer battery which is an improvement in my opinion.
I think one of the first reviewers only got a 2300mah battery.
