Sorry Although you can have the motor and gearbox if you like. With the brushless coming i have no need for the brushed thingy.

I was there in April at the conference center right next to the field. The whole time I was thinking I wished I'd have had room to bring my plane.

Thanks for the great shots!

haha! that made my day thanks for the kind words mate

Bradm: Where i flew there wasnt a lot of room to fly. Im sure if I actually went over to the park where the field used to be there would've been more room. I'm going back in the relatively near future for some more shots. I wish I would've gotten the sears tower in one of the photos... the wind just wouldn't allow it I brought my dandy GT along in case I wanted to fly it. but it was too windy and not enough space. I could've flown in those winds but it wouldnt have been fun and landing wouldve been tricky.

Great Pics Kyle! Don't you love that "butterfly" feeling when you fly somewhere new like that, especially in wind with a lot of folks watching?
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! yea, i had like 20 people who where riding bikes watching and since ive never taking AP photos from there before I wanted to stay in the air longer to get more pictures but I also didnt because of the winds. Got it down safely which is what matters

Nice pictures, Kyle!

A few questions:

Refresh my memory, is your camera set up to point out the side of the SS?

Did you fly from the parking lot by the Adler Planetarium?

Where did you park?

Thanks Lew My camera was facing out the back due to the direction of the wind (straight off the lake) maybe 12-15 mph? pretty brisk. You know that road that leads right up to the planitarium and then turns around and heads away? I parked on the right side (looking towards the planitarium) and flew from the big parking lot for the park. landing was VERY tricky the way the wind was blowing.
