Don Smith P61 Black widow

A while back a friend of mine challanged me to a building race. He's building a ziroli P38, and Ive opted for Don Smiths P61. (same plane Charlie Chambers won the scale masters with a few years back). Anyone out there familiar with this plane have any advice?

Can't offer any useful advice, but I have seen both types fly(including charlie chambers') and built a couple of smaller ones myself, and it's nothing but a great aircraft.

HI fellers, just passing by, snapped this at the Sheparton Mamoth Scale event on at the moment (yesterday and today).

Sorry but I have no details, everyone was busy hunting the outfield for the nose cone, all I know it runs 2 x 35cc motors.

This was my first scale meet and I was just madly snapping pics of everything

Thanks Joe,
If I had to guess, I'd say that was a Ziroli P61 as the Don Smith plane is quite a bit smaller and will not take engines much bigger than 150s. I believe Charlie Chambers used 2 Webra 120 speeds. I hope to use a pair of OS 120 4 strokes...love the sound of two 4 strokes!

I am getting ready to order the plans for this bird as well. How is the build going. Any pics?
