I understand regarding skewers and heatshrink regarding servo connection but how do you secure skewers to the deport airleron. thank you.

Too much fun Thomas! Great proportions and excellent flying characteristics. Can't wait for the plans for this one! What are you using for motor, battery and prop?

I first install the shrink tube on both lengths of bamboo and when still hot pinch the bend with small needle nose pliers or bend over the shaft of small screw driver. Wick in CA glue.

I then glue into control surfaces and adjust the push rod length at the servo end. Color with Sharpie.

Easy, cheap, accurate, smooth operation, bullitproof, absolutely no slop and cheap.

I printed out the plans and have them taped together. It seems smaller by the plans than it does in the vid's and pics! My plans were a bit shy of the full 600mm. Close enough though! The only material I have is Adams Redi-Board. I'm thinking of peeling off the paper. Any thoughts, suggestions?

Leave the paper on. It gives the foam rigidity.

Remove paper and then tape. Light is MIGHT!! The KFM4 is pretty ridged.

Motor is 70 - 100g, 900 - 1200 kV , Prop 10x5 to 12 x 4, Battery 3s 2200 to 2600 mAh.

I'm using a 20 gram Sunnysky 2204/1480 KV, a 10A ESC, 3S 520s spinning a 7X5 and 5.6 gram servos.

Just cut two more out today in EPP. Got it free from a FB house cleaning his shop.

Saves me slicing up some sheets.

Got it Frank. That's the size I want to build. The one meter version.

Just realised i have now got a wingspan of 560mm instead of 600mm. My mistake was to measure from the centre line to the wing tip instead of outside of fuselage, never mind.
