The first race of the DRL season will be on ESPN2 on Sunday night

They're airing an "Intro to Drone Racing" at 9, then the race at 10.

Kinda cool to see mainstream coverage.

They filmed here (Detroit)a few weeks ago. I had the opportunity to go check it out. It's very different to say the least. Hopefully they use some TV magic and make it more enjoyable to watch. Watching it live was painfully boring.

At the event I attended Jhnnyfpv(?) was the dominant force. There are plenty of big name pilots racing.

I doubt it. Everything is filmed weeks/months before it is aired on television.
