Buick you got me curious now XD
I have the feeling that the plane with 1500kv & 10x5 "flies very fast".

The harrier is much easier with the low battery.

I will try 1100kv & 10x5 - 10x4.7

With all of you purchasing the Slick, I figured I had to as well. Red for me.

Do any of you have experience with the Emax ES08MD (not the II) and the ES08MDII? I'd like to know if the spline is the same size on both, or if they're different. I have a couple ES08MD servos; one bought new off ebay (even if it was listed as an MDII), and one sent to me by Burnooly (thanks!) that look and perform identical to each other. Both have a bigger spline than the MDII servos I have.

I'm pretty sure they're both just fakes, but I'd like to know for sure about the spline size, as if they're supposed to be the same between MD and MDII (I'm pretty sure they are), that would be an easy way to spot a fake.

If the larger spline isn't a pretty obvious tell, the sub par performance certainly is. They both appear to be geared to be about 2x faster than the real Emax servos, and they put out half the torque as well.

I'm still waiting on one MDII servo from Aliexpress, and when it arrives I'll do some testing and dissecting, comparing one known authentic MDII servo to the ones I had fail in flight (and caused a crash both times), the fake I got off ebay, the fake Burnooly sent me (thanks again!), and the one from AliExpress.

I haven't tested the servos yet (still waiting on the last one to arrive), but in the mean time I had another in flight servo failure this morning, causing yet another crash. This is getting ridiculous.

Video in a little bit.

DAMN! Dude that sucks . It just nosed right in
The big question is what servo price range are people willing to put into these planes .
the lower end emax 08mdii series up to the Hitec 5065MG.
For example , I have the power hd 1810 servos in 2 different models eflite extra260 (crashed from a brownout)transferred the servos to a new eflite slick480 i have lost both models due to brownouts because i think the 1810's were pulling too much power from the system.

The nose, I believe, is actually okay. Looks like the wing spar might have broken, and the wing halves separated in the middle. Also, the fuselage separated in several places.

The wing I can fix, but I'm not sure how badly the fuse is damaged. It sort of is in the shape of an S at this point.
