Consider a SunnySky X2216-III 1400kV.

Or go 4s with the sunnsky 2216 880kv v3 motor. On 4s the lower amp draw keeps power and punch throughout the flight and flight time is extended when using the same weight packs going from 3s to 4s. Not to mention the torque is alot better in hovers and harriers . I was rather surprised.

On paper the watts and rpm look very similar but in flight it becomes rather clear of the power/performance difference

11” prop, I belive 1400kv is a little high.. If I would buy sunnysky III it’s going to be 1250kv.

I rather like to run 4s BUT I aint going to buy a set of 4s battery for only that plane. Have 4 other planes that runs on 3s

Next time I'm going to try a 2300mAh 3s 70c with 11x6, weight: 175g

(115g)1400mAh 3s is 4min flighttime

Yeah the 1200-1250 kg is about right for 3s and 11". I understand not wanting to buy 4s just for one plane. I have been using the 2 3s 1500's in series for the 48" on 6s. Also did buy one 6s 1550ma tattoo v3 pack for 6s. A motor like the Omega 72 or PA thrust 20 the efficiency is good and flight times and power are a little higher than the sunnysky 2216. But the sunnysky 2216 is a little smaller. The Omega 72 and thrust 20 have a larger diameter that helps with torque and power. Another good option is a Supertigre .10 but they have been discontinued they make very good power for their weight
