DSHOT ignore min_throttle
we are now using a new CLI command

check here
Setting Min Throttle with Dshot
https://github.com/betaflight/betafl...%20and%20Dshot
Quote:
Dshot now uses the CLI command " digital_idle_offset" and the old 'min_throttle' setting is ignored. Do type "get idle" to see if this exists and what the valid values are. To set this correctly this value needs to be double whatever the difference is between min command (which should be 1000) and whatever value your min throttle was set at when using multishot / oneshot. For example if your min throttle when using multishot was 1040 (difference here between min command and min throttle is 40) then you should set your digital idle offset to 80. Or if your min throttle pre dshot was 1055 (difference between min command and min throttle here is 55) then you set digital idle offset to 110. You can play with these values a little but if you experience motor/prop stalls during flight this number should be increased as having this value too low could be the cause of that behaviour.

The lumenier 2206 2350kv are great motors and very efficient but are noted as not being the fastest with older style magnets. I run the same props and just fitted a set of the new RS2205S motors on my quad this weekend. It almost feels like I've moved to 5S, punch outs are unbelievable.

I'm encountering this "throttle reduction" with the latest Betaflight 3.1.0-759/BLHeli 16.5 and Dshot600. Is this normal? I give it full throttle and it starts out fast, but slowly drops almost down to idle all by itself. Sorry I don't have 4 motors to test this with.

I feel like I have even more top end with blheli_s 16.43 and cicada 30a with cap removed, running on dshot300. Maybe the new blheli 16.5 firmware will fix people's issues with less power?

I can firmly say none of my quads are losing thrust and I haven't migrated to the blheli16.5 yet, although plan to soon. Quite the opposite, my Atom has an xracerv3.1 & LB20_S's with the caps removed and using DShot300 increased their output over MS if anything. My two other DShot quads were unnoticeably different, a SpaceOne220X & an Armattan MRP130. I push my quads to the absolute max and would easily notice a drop if it occurred, but I'll admit that I'm only monitoring Current flow on my 5" quads.

Are these v2 35a?

it didn't say that I have to remove the signal capacitor and it flown without any desyncs or issues. So far me, I didn't have to do anything on my ESC other than just flash and fly

Flashed latest 3.1.0 BF now and 16.5 esc firmware. All looks fine, runs at 8/4 Dshot600 quite fine on LUX + modded Cicada 30A escs.
Today will try to make test flight.

It is not DShot, but PID reducing the trust. See https://youtu.be/xBaefeQtA1c for explanation. In other words: yes, in your case that's normal.

So, what can I say... Amazing! Really at first I was dissapointed around vibrations I got, but appeared that one more cyclone cracked in base part... All time cracking at mold injection place, but even with that drone was extremely locked and flyable.

Also, with 16.5 firmware esc runs again with 125 looptime (instead of 250 at 16.43). Great!

Just to update and be able to include in the wiki..
DYS XS20 v1 working with cap removed.
The previous image posted by DYS123 was of the v2 XS20, and people were removing the RESISTOR located in a similar location on the v1. This made them inoperable. Make sure to check your version, and then proceed.

The circle CAP in hte picture needs to be removed to run DSHOT 150, 300 or 600 on the XS20 v1

(note* - the v1.1 should work with this as well, as I believe the only difference between v1.0 and v1.1 was v1.1 had the correct firmware preloaded.)
