My motor came from Lensrc. Great motor! I got the one with the tube on the back end. I just made some extra formers in the nose and drilled a hole and glued the tube in the foam.

Kirk,

1)I'm using Smart and Final Iris Jumbo Containers with hinged lids. They are flat on top and have a logo on the bottom. I use the tops for wings and flying surfaces. I turn the logo inward and use the bottoms for the fuselage sides. I use regular shinny scotch tape to tape the tops together after truing them up with a straight edge.
2)I'm using a Lensrc motor. 1050 mah 2s lipo. Phoenix 25 esc.
3) Do a google for the plans or I can email them to you.

I can finish my cad plan if there ios enough interest. Someone can then tile them for the group.

1. What kind of foam box are you using, and where did you get it? (The image isn't posted any more.)
2. What kind of CD rom motor and esc and lipo mah capacity are you using? Any idea on where to get the CD rom motor and esc?
3. Got a link to the micro moth plans?

Thanks

Smart and Final is a store in the LA area. I've seen them at Sams Club and Coscos too.

Here is a dxf file of the Mini Tiger Moth. Maybe someone can convert it to a tiled rastor format. I suggest anyone wanting to build one download the Micro Moth plan.

sweet!!!

looks beautiful . u did a great job . your plans look allot easer than the micro moth. i did not ctch the part about the fuze being joined in the back . that will save some weight in glue . i think i will build anouther. lighter with more power
