Update: As the EFLR310013 Apprentice SAFE Rx would not allow past 1/2 throttle before the plan began to oscillate horribly, I deiced to try the SPMAR636F4U Corsair SAFE Rx, it was better, allowed for 3/4 throttle before oscillation.
I plan to try Spitfire SAFE Select Rx next time out.

Santanig5,

I like you Super Scorpion 70mm EDF SAFE conversion.

I have done a similar conversion with my 4S Freewing Stinger 64mm EDF.
I'll have to check at what throttle the oscillations happen...I guess I probably just naturally ease up on throttle when it happens
I have similar problems with oscillations at higher throttle...do you know why this happens with the safe receiver?

Did you ever try the Spitfire SAFE rx?
I wondered if it was better than the Corsair

Thanks

The Spitfire Safe Select Rx is definitely better than the Corsair, but still has oscillation at higher speeds, I suspect due to the pre-programed gain settings.
For now no way to change the Safe settings, but maybe one day.
You may want to try a basic Rx with a different stabilization system where the gains can be adjusted if you need it now, there is plenty of room for two units.
