Sadly, as with the Vortex 250 pro, the stock CMOS crap cam will have to go.
I'm pretty spoiled with the HS1177 with GoPro2 lens I use to the 250.

Too bad this will be over 250g with batt.
They're about to pass new laws in regards to FPV quads with serious repercussions for anything over 250g AUW.
Sub 250g with a 500mah is the weight

Will this work with my original Spektrum DX7? It's DSM2 and I thought DSMx receivers were backwards compatible.

Yeah, after reading the ImmersionRC page, I want one too. It's seemingly perfect - it even has an FPV cam with Sony HS1177 sensor in it (finally!).

Sounds like they are using wrong specs ImmersionRC state cam is FatShark 600TVL CCD (HS1177 sensor + chipset). The Pro 250 has the FatShark 700TVL CMOS V2 Camera.

Either that, or the Blade version has an other camera.

I got tired of waiting for a good 150 so I built my own. All based on "standard" components. The design is open (all plans, etc., are freely available) so I'm not trying to sell anything. I just love the 150 size. I'm happy to see new designs in this segment. It's a lot of fun.

Got bit by a bad 3D bug
I swear you never know what you actually get at BG sometimes So I see they have both the red and the white versions shown with no way to choose? And no picture of the gross green.

Also, they call it a PNF implying theres no receiver (which is what Im waiting for anyway myself) for $300. Whereas Horizon has the green version and they call it BNF with a Spectrum receiver for the same $300! Arrrg.

Unless someone is buying it for color, the Horizon Hobby deal is better. $300 and an rx you can take out and just sell if you don't want to use it.

Looks like Banggood took the images off the ImmersionRC site. I not sure they will be selling the white version it maybe just showing the Pimp kits for it.

But apparently the HH version only has a CMos flight cam, while the ImmersionRC one has a CCD HS1177 clone.

The red and white ones appear to be upcoming 'special editions' (note the Rotor Riot badge on the white one).

Of course, with all the inconsistent descriptions on the ImmersionRC and HH sites these are just educated guesses for now.

What is for sure though, and relevant for us Europeans, is that the EU version of the HH/Blade model will of course only have a 'castrated' 25mW VTx.

It is integrated on the main PCB, as opposed to the Vortex 250pro where it is easily swapable).
