I'm not far from Selfridge ANG. I get to see these babies fly once a month or so year round.

The 2s bl UMX P-47 & P-51 are already available. In fact, the UMX Jug was released a year ago.

The recommended pack size for the A-10 is 800 mAh - which is around twice the size that the single-engine 2s bl UMX planes can comfortably accommodate. Plus, the form-factor is considerably different. And the smaller packs that most people use in the other 2s bl UMX planes would fall flat on their faces in the A-10, because it pulls at least twice as much current as any of the single-engine 2s bl UMX planes.

I keep spending my money on FPV stuff. I really like the idea of owning one though. LOL

I notice the E-Flite page now says "Due Mid-December."

On the other hand, my "used to be inside" source says that a delivery date (to the local hobby shop) of Dec 2 means "during the week ending Dec 2".

I'll check with my LHS and see if the due date is still Dec 2.

Local Hobby Shop is now telling me the same date.

I'm not sure if that is ship to store, or in store.

I pre-ordered mine from HobbyZone's LHS, here in the Twin Cities metro - literally seconds after the announcement. They say it should show up on the 7th. I can hardly wait!
