Hi all,
A general thread to discuss the World Championships...

Which pilots have made the teams?
Does anyone know much about the field?
Any organizer info out yet?

Have fun everyone, I will be sitting this one out. Missed both my first and second anniversaries being away at contests in Croatia and Singapore so I figured I better not miss the next one.. hahaha

Team Israel has been selected.
Seniors team is the same team as in 2015, Nir Holzman, Eitan Rotbart and myself. Still not sure everyone can attend but we hope all personal obligations will be resolved as we get closer to the registration deadline.
Junior team is expected to be a full team this year with Omer Ben Ami, Nir Lindenbaum and Mark Sterltsin.

Will be nice meeting all the best pilots in the world again

Team Canada is also the same as last cycle: David Webb, Patrick MacKenzie, and myself. Haven't been to the Ukraine since the F2 worlds in 1998, it will be interesting to see how things have changed.

Team NZ was decided last weekend at our team selection competition. The team is myself, Kevin Botherway, and newcomer Neal Moss, with the first alternate being Rod Hale. Jonathan Shorer has once again agreed to be the team manager.

This should be a very good team, although it has large shoes to fill!

Maybe he will change his mind before next July...

The Aussie team selects are Jan 14, 15 2017, so lots of practice for me. Feeling a little rusty after a Winter hibernation.
