Jay Marsh and I are voting for Rich Hanson as AMA President. Let me tell you why.

Both of the other candidates are fine gentlemen, experienced Vice Presidents and would do well but Rich Hanson, also having the experience of being a Vice President and Hall of Famer, has proven his dedication to the Academy particularly over the last few years for his work with our government representing recreational flying and established the AMA as the expert it is with the FAA, DOT, and Congress. Without his efforts we would be unrecognized and unappreciated for our expertise to those that are making the decisions about our hobby’s future. Today we are consulted and part of the decision making process thanks to Rich.

Rich understands that all hobbyists must stick together and have a single voice. Together we are strong. His background demonstrates that he understands all aspects of model aviation having built and flown almost every type of model aircraft and realizes no modeler should be left behind.
For the health and future of the Academy of Model Aviation we must elect Rich Hanson to carry us through this most critical time in our history and make sure we survive and grow into the future. He will fight for us every day and lead the AMA and Council to a solid, secure future.

The only way that can happen is for you to cast your ballot for Rich Hanson for AMA President. Simply mark your ballot for Rich Hanson and drop it in the mail. Do it as soon as you get your ballot. Thank you.
