Hope I didn't make a mistake buying a value hobby motor

Hi all, I placed a $118 total order total for the 3d plane, $50 of that from value hobby, I am nervous now that the motor I bought, will have a loose magnet issue.. I am worried now, sorta wishing I never go into the 3d thing. I mean yea I bought before I heard that issue, I am really worried now

Which motor did you buy? I'm using their 1900kv 2 cell motor with no problems, 50 flights so far.

I just got one of the 2206-1500kv threaded shaft motors. It is fine. Using the Gemfan 8x4.5 slowfly props and a Hobbywing 12 amp esc. The Value Hobby 8x4 direct drive props didn't fit it.

On a 3s1p 500 mAh pack the watt meter showed 14.65 amps and 153.9 watts.

Ok , heres the bottom line

You bought a $15 motor . Some guys spend $50++ on similar size motors (not me)
Expect $15 worth of quality control .

Its $15, if thats too much of a risk then , really you are in the wrong hobby or you need to buy $50 top quality brand motors & $50 ecs and $50 batts.

Its $15. If it fails you spend another $15 & get another . Thats the way it works when buying cheap parts

Over the years, ive bought at least 70 cheapy chinese motors. Ive only had maybee 6 that were faulty . It happens but most are OK, I'll keep buying the cheapies myself & take that risk & save huge $ each time
