is this controller JUST for quad / multi rotor copters ? still fairly new to the hobby and looking for a transmitter that will work with all my aircraft. . drones and 6ch cp helis.

Sorry to take so long to answer. I just saw this.
I use mine in two sailboats. I got the Turnigy version and it came with 2 receivers, one for each boat. The iA5B has 6 servo connectors while the iA6C has an IBus output. You will need to get the IBus expander if you use the iA6C or IBus compatible servos.

Watch the pinout on those Airtronic servos, they are different than Futaba. I think it is 5V and signal that are swapped.
I'm not familiar with the Debo 7-E so don't know if it is compatible with the AFDHS2.

Yes I switched Ground and + 5 the Debo 7-E worked with. the FlySky receiver ,

The old Hobyshack servo won't work ... I did get the speed control to work. Using a different battery for the reciever and the motor. Thanks guys ...
