What's the difference between these and the Cicada series. What's the reason for another offering that would compete with its own offering?

Racerstar cares more about volume than anything else and these will let them compete with lower end ESCs as well

Price, amperage, pad style, and possibly chipset. BLHeli_S ESCs are all very similar, but I'm quite curious as to the chipset these use and why they are cheaper.

Looks like the same as the ZTW Polaris BLHeli_s ESC's. Here's some pictures I found of the underside of both 25amp versions.

exactly, does anyone know the real difference between the EFM8BB10F8 (25 MHz) and EFM8BB21F16 (50 MHz) when used with blheli_s?

the prices are allmost the same:

they both have EFM8BB21F16 as stated above, rs30a has EFM8BB21F16 and MS is similar to the one which has also same chip

I just bought RS20A v2 and I could have now few days later almost same 25A cheaper ... ehhh
