Westland Wyvern s400 model?

How about this aircraft for a budding scratchbuilder, or has it been done already?

Middle Wallop Engineering produced a scale combat model of this aircraft some years ago. I believe that the company is now defunct, but you might find a kit on Ebay. I have one of these kits, and might be able to dig it out of my storage room if you're interested.

Vanguard Vancouver sells a 75" slimer version:

Model Airplane News sells plans for a 36" wingspan version of this plane, with a documentation 3-view drawing, Plan # FSP0600A, June 2000.

I think the Wyvern is a cracking looking machine!

The only downside that immediately comes to mind are those contra-rotating props; they'd be a pain to replicate, but if you don't then everyone will ask why didn't bother with them.........

That is one awsome looking model. I love the dive brakes.
Looks like you should have no issues with the CG on a S400 model with a long nose like that . I like the plane and the idea of a S400 version or better yet a Mega 16/15/... w/Lipos and functional dive brakes .
