Let me correct that - we've got five pilots from the JCSF Big Top competing

A lot of chatter on here from the BCSF and JCSF but no noise from the Watervliet Wind Warriors or the Electric Powered Aeromodelers from upstate NY. I'm kind of surprised due to the fact that the Front Yard Fighters originated in this area. Come on Papa John where are your guys??

8/30 UPDATE!!!

We have had a flurry of registrations this evening and as I write this we have 18 registered pilots for the Front Yard Fighters Showdown! Only 7 spots remain!

Pilots will be representing MI, NJ, NY, PA, and VT! Come on New England guys, don't let the VT boys be the only ones representing us!

The race plane purchase option has been quite popular, but there are still some planes available so if you are interested in grabbing one now is the time!

We have been busy painting, soldering, and building the 12 race planes over the past couple of weeks, but the photo that is attached is something pretty unique; the first "production" paint scheme for the Mosquito 31! After some deliberation it was decided to go with the tried and true RAF colors and I think that was a good choice. Just to put the complexity of the paint scheme into perspective, it takes 24 separate painting templates to complete the 6-color scheme.

So far I know of six confirmed pilots from the JCSF tent - not too shabby!

By any chance will you be bringing any Mossie kits?

I definitely can't promise anything since the manual isn't written yet, but if the next week and a half go well I may try to sneak a couple into the trailer.
