The Teflon tube is required.
If you ran in salt and did not fresh-water flush afterwards, then those items may be fused to the shaft via corrosion and have to be forced off. Photos? |

replacing ESC/receiver
I toasted the esc/receiver. Is the stock replacement the best option?
I could get a hobbyking water cooled esc and separate waterproof receiver for about the same price. Do I really need a water cooled esc? I have 30a esc's, do they really get too hot with this size motor?? Would 40a compensate for heat? |

This one has built-in water cooling: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/ads-400x...00kv-525w.html Battery choice is subjective depending on who you ask. Just don't buy the cheapest ones you can find and you'll be alright. Cheap Li-Po's always disappoint. I recommend 1500mAh 3S packs, 30A or higher to keep weight down and performance up ... 2200mAh 3S maximum for this hull to control weight gain. |

Standard bolt spacing center-to-center for 28mm diameter brushless motors is 19mm, usually M3 threads. Some offer 19mm and 16mm bolt spacing holes, with 19mm most common. I know of one that only has 16mm spaced holes Measure your mount's hole spacing to verify.

Move it if needed.. This is modification, not bolt-in upgrades.

Otherwise, the ADS motors work fine, as does their watercooling, I get over 20 minutes full throttle on a 2S 4200mAh lipo... Regards, Jan. |

I won't even put mine away after fresh water runs until after servicing it. Lesson learned, and more boat components may fail early too. Good luck with that. At least they are CHEAP boats. |

Hello,
I have a new 915. As soon as I switch on the Remote, the motor starts running. :-( If I put the throttle to ~75% reverse it stops. I tried to adopt the "middle" of the throttle with the two little Thr-Trim-buttons, but without success. Any idea, or is this an RMA? Best regards, Hendrik |
