Thanks for the info. Is 1.09 the latest update for the CN version? That is what it updated to. I'm surprised that I have the CN version as it was sold in the USA.

If you have a FlySky, update to the latest FW 1.10.3 and PM me. The FW versions have different setups for D/R.

But be mindful you don't move the switch to set up dual rates you select the switch up down on the display.

You have the choice of On SW, Dual Switch, Rate control Exp control.

If you select dual switch you have to press the activate button when you get back to the rate screen or your can not enter data.

Cheers Brian
What is the activate button, the Green checkmark?

In the software?

Its a bit unfortunate but we try to limit each model to the country it was released for. However once we pass our systems to the sellers there is only so much we can do to prevent it as they are independent. At the end of the day we are just a manufacturer/design company and don't distribute to customers ourselves.

In some functions there is an icon in the bottom left corner which changes between a tick and a inactive sign. In the functions that have this if there is no tick, the function will not work.

Thanks. I still cannot figure out how to set dual rates! I can select either up or down for the selected switch and I can set the rate and expo. HOWEVER, when I select the opposite (up or down) I cannot set anything! I am about to try to sell this radio. It is driving me mad. I MUST have dual rates!

Sorry, been busy.

You have 2 choices for dual rates.
  • 100% and another XXX% setting.
  • XXX% and another YYY% Setting.

The choice is the Switch Setting mode.
  • On Switch for 1.
  • Dual SW for 2

Here is a set of pictures and the instructions for setting 2 rates. (Dual Sw)

Select Exponential Menu.

Select the Control you want to use for a dual rate.

Select the Switch button at the bottom of the screen.

Select the menu item Dual SW.

Select the switch you want to use for the dual rate function.

Select either up or down as the primary rate.

Exit back a screen until you get the graph.

Select the enable button. Bottom Left and get the green tick.

Set your switch you selected to the up position.

Select either rate or expo and move the wheel to get the desired rate.

Toggle your switch to the down position.

Select the rate or expo you want to use for the down position by using the wheel.

If you don't have the correct screens displayed then you need to update your firmware.

Your FW version is in the System menu -> About FS-i10 menu.

Cheers.

I must tell you I have updated the radio and only to 1,09. It appears I have the chinese version. I hope this doesn't impact the procedure.

1.09 will be fine for Dual Rates. But be careful it does not corrupt your saved models on your SD cards.

1.09 Did that to me. I had to wipe the SD card and reprogram each model again.
