Hi everyone. I've been playing around with foam board and asked " Can I build a fast scale boat made out of foam board." Well the answer I received was no or you can use some foam but its to weak to stand alone. Sooooooo ......... I didn't like that answer. I need to prove to myself it can be done. where to start? I downloaded plans for cigarette type boats till I found one I thought might work. I then drew out the parts I needed using the plan as a guide.

Hello again. With the sizing issues taken care of, I was able to move on and cut out my pieces and build the frame. ..... Visitor showed up always good to see family. You will see her dad too. Not a bad days work, especially since I had to work too. Take a look!

1. Attach bottom to frame.
2. Start on hatch.
3. Make canopy.
4. Attach canopy to hatch
5. Seal bottom.
6. Putty and sand.

For large holes or gaps, wood filler was used. Other holes and dents, spackle was used. Gorilla Glue was used for sealing the gaps.

Sides go on today. Tools needed?

1.Gorilla glue.
2. sides (duh)
3. rubber bands
4. wood putty
5. spackle
6. block sander.
7. 150 sand paper
8. 220 sand paper.
9. shop vac.

Now that the black color is on the canopy its time to think about graphics. It took a while to look at many so I will only show the finalist.

We choose our graphic and put it on and blended it.
