Updating AR636 using Spektrum Updater

Have downloaded the latest update for a new AR636 Rx (v1.43), but when trying to install update using the Updater program, just get error message ie:
Erasing & programming device.......
There was an error erasing the device (bad address)
Anyone else had this problem - any suggestions?
