Terrible crashes...


So I have had some terrible crashes and some dumb moment at home (back to back).

Needless to say, I have damaged by FC (broken USB port), ripped out the FPV camera connector, the one on the PDB.

I also made some nice holes on the wall and broke my chromebook's screen... (this is from the dumb moment where I accidentally gave full acceleration indoor with the props on! I was messing with the OSD and completely forgot that yaw right throttle down means disarm.... I was trying to enter the OSD configuration menu, which is yaw right and pitch forward.

I guess it could be worst, I could have been seriously injured, I was sitting right in front of the quad (like 5-10 inches from it).

Anyways, so I am now trying to slowly repair the damages.

Question #1, what is the difference between video 1 and video 2 on the power distribution board? When I which over to Video 2, I get distortions. I switched between Pal and NTSC and it didn't make any differences.

Question #2, Since I have broken off my USB port, can I use one of the UART instead? any tips on how do DIY my own USB to UART and use it to setup the FC instead?
