Racerstar RS20Ax4 and RS30Ax4 Cheapest & First BLHELI_S 4in1 ESC - Now v2 with BB2

**UPDATE: v1 was BB1 and now there is v2 with BB2 and 30A v2 2-6S version

The 30A v2:

The 20A v2:

Original v1:

WOW!!!
Banggood jus put out the new: Racerstar RS20Ax4 4in1 BLHELI_S

This is the first BLHELI_S 4in1 ESC, I was waiting for this, I actually waited for the Littlebee pro 4in1 when the BLHELI_S started popping up so I cancelled my order haha... (now have 17 Aikon SEFM 30A and 5 Littlebee 20A-S, yeah i'm an addict)

http://www.banggood.com/Racerstar-RS20Ax4-20A-4-in-1-Blheli_S-Opto-ESC-2-4S-Support-Oneshot42-Multishot-for-FPV-Racer-p-1068210.html

It is now in an amzing price of 27.99$!!! thats less than 4 exreamlly cheap ESC's!!!

Not sure if its BB1 or BB2 MCU
Weigh 19g could be a bit heavier than 4 Littlebee 20A-S which are 4g each

But for the price, who cares, I ordered 2....

What i'd want to know is how much this linear regulator can output?

Is this addressable with the pass through programming tools?

I posted this question to the banggood product page, but I'm wondering if the hole spacing is 30x30 or 30.5x30.5?

Also, could someone explain how you would feed 5v to a FC using one of these 4 in 1 esc's? Do you just run the power from the JST harness to a 5v step-down for power?

As has been stated in other threads, I hope they add additional options to these 4 in 1 boards in the future so they can function as a PDB without needing any additional boards...

4 in 1 ESC/PDB and FC/OSD for clean, 2 board max builds please.

I really wish the TBS mini-powercube used on the RotorX atom builds was available separately

It looks like there's a 5v regulator on the bottom of the board and the red/black wires coming out in the JST connector might be the 5v output. Might not be filtered however.

Should work through betaflight pass through,i don't see a reason it won't.

Regarding BEC, the product says no BEC, there probably is a small one since almost no ESC is truly OPTO, might be small drawback without the BEC, it will be good paired with some FC or VTX which has 5v regulator.

Thats the linear regulator on this board.

So it likely outputs 5v, through this red wire. Should be safe to power FC from it.

these jst like connectors it has - can many FC can plug in directly? Is this a common connector for the signal/ground/5v plug?

Where did you see that?
Is there info on preformance difference between bb1 and bb2? i suspect it is the higher kv motors the question is whats the limit?

Nothing really significant, but:
- Fixed bug that prevented temperature protection
- Improved robustness to very high input signal rates. 32kHz is now fully supported for BB21 MCUs. For BB10, 8kHz is a recommended maximum
- Beeps can be turned off by programming beep strength to 1
- Throttle cal difference is checked to be above required minimum before storing. Throttle cal max is not stored until successful min throttle cal

Thanks
So, It seems that this means that currently BB1 is not such a disadvantage after all.
Accept of course for the knowledge that there is something better out there

yes except if you plan on using Raceflight you will want to go BB2 in order to use 32khz on esc which is preferred....

So I take it the Racerstar/Cicada don't have this?

Cicadas are coming out in BB2 versions, but i doubt racerstar rebadge it to a lower price as its a more expensive chip. Who knows these days though.
