I use this stuff on some electronics I think might get sprayed by salt water. It works great to protect them in my experience. It is hydrophobic and repels water. I have dunked a little toy in water before with this sprayed on all exposed electrical parts (including battery ends) and it kept working while under water. I don't recommend that though .

Here is a newer product which claims to have similar properties...

I would be really worried about covering up the ventilation holes or slots, these small camera's have a powerful processor in there that given its capabilities gets pretty hot and breathing is of major importance for it. The camera case was designed this way for a reason and the reason is heat.

I was thinking of the same, but haven't found anything in this category.

Anyway, I need a cam soon, hence I've ordered the Q6.

I hope I can achieve something similar by tethering (playback, framing, etc.)

well not bad but the WDR looks really really bad
the sky looks white on the left side .

Would be interesting to know the bitrate in 1080p 60fps

The Foxeer legend 2 has WiFi.
Of course WiFi will drain the internal battery sooner, so you may want to power it from the flight battery

I hope to have my Q6 flying tomorrow.

I did not have WDR turned on during this video, all around there was a strong ground mist rising which made everything look white too and bitrate was in High and is 37000kbps.

The FPV view?

I updated the Q6 to ver 2.1.
The CX-20 is repaired and the Q6 is mounted & gimbal re-tuned.

Somehow my FPV screen is B&W - no color?

While poking around trying to see color on my FPV screen, a WiFi symbol appeared.

I have discovered that Gyro & Anti-fisheye do work simultaneously.
I like that the FPV view shows mode and a blinking dot while recording.
Now, if I can just get the live out to show in color...

It is all in your monitor settings.
You must try different settings on your monitor (PAL, SECAM etc, etc...)

To me WiFi feature with live preview is a must.
WiFi interferes with just about everything rc.
2.4 messes with controls, 5.8 trashes your video. So "no wifi" is a good thing.

Only if you use cheap components.

So far I have reloaded 2.1 software.
To rule out TX, RX, & OSD issues I wired the video signal direct from the Q6 to the monitor.
The picture was still B&W.
I Tested the monitor directly from the old Runcam & it showed color.
