If you want someone to test and review it I'll volunteer
I haven't done much in the way of reviews but I post a few videos on Youtube and I am a RunCam user.

Out of curiosity, what was the recording device used in that video?

Cheers,
Geoff

Willing to find a all terrain cam to renew all my onboard cams for my fixed wing fleet.

It would be nice to see some footage from a fixed wing, that would give a better representation of video quality and FOV.

I would love to compare this to my RunCam Swift. The back looks a little more hefty to stop any play from the metal stand which looks like a nice start!

Cool, is this the 16:9 CCD camera I've been waiting for?

Interesting. It looks like it overcomes the standard cmos weaknesses. I'll be keeping my eyes on this one.

Unfortunately RunCam states that the Eagle latency is 45ms and this review found that it's 49ms. Compared to the HS1177's ~11ms, adding an extra ~30ms to 11 makes for too much latency in the system and an impossibility to use this in a race setting. So sad...

I haven't seen any problem that the Eagle is not suitable for the racing from the video.

First look at the new RunCam Eagle. The DVR footage is not as good as the video received in the goggles. I need a better DVR I think...

I use the FatShark 16:9 CMOS camer and it looks great on my DOMv3's and
homemade HMD's 16:9 screen/monitor.

When do these go on sale? I want to try them.
