"The Durafly Excalibur is a great looking new sport warmliner from HobbyKing. It features a 1600mm wingspan, a V-tail design and a serious spar structure for high speed flying. It comes with a 3542 800Kv outrunner motor and a 60A Aerostar ESC matched with a 13x7 or 13x8 carbon fiber prop. Add your own 4S 1800-2200mAH lipo, and get ready to have a blast." Update 3rd July 2016 - Announcement Daily published:
Looks like HK has a new warmliner coming under the Durafly brand - an updated Dynamic-S (ST Blaze) maybe? A bit of screen grab detective work indicates it will be called the Excalibur...

Thanks mopetista, have added that video to post 1 for reference...
PS - Do you still ever fly your HK Spad? Had mine out at the weekend after a long layoff, still flew great on 2S after all your lightening tips! |

Watching that announcement video again it seems to have quite a bit of forward sweep - that gives the illusion of anhedral, but from the side it looks dead flat. That FSW should give it good slow speed handling though. I wonder what powertrain they will fit; my money is on the 3S option being ditched and this being 4S or more only.

Always have been interested in the MPX Blizzard, but this one looks to be very nice. Might need some space in the hanger when this comes out. |

As in this video, but a bit more power would have been better:
The EFX is also still on my list of wanna haves.. just to many planes in the hangar.. |

I think the forward sweep is an optical illusion. Spar placement would be a nightmare. On a foamie no less. I would bet on 4s power train as its being billed as a warmliner. Wonder if it will slope? If they keep the weight down it might work. --Jason Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Forward sweep is no trick of the eye And for any other questions, I'll be able to reveal more in the coming weeks.
