FrSky C2110 SBUS servo

FrSky C2110 SBUS servo

Anybody heard or used these servos?

At 9g each they are the perfect fit for one of my gliders.
SBUS is definitely the reason I'll get them but it's hard to find people who have actually used them!

For the Inside? I'm going to be using these for sure in the wing. I thought about using 5-6 gram servos and an SBUS converter but you end up the same weight, more wires, and less torque. I have other FRSKY servos and they center pretty well, not great but good. The resolution is also good enough, again not great, but good.

Some complained of "sloppy" gears but this is a slow plane it should work ok
Very seriously about to hit the buy button

I would say the slop in the gears is close to what you would find in a KST which isn't bad.

Not yet...Planning on trying them in a Spirit Elite I'm currently building. Want the Sbus, but not willing to pay Futaba money for a Spirit.

BTW, Futaba has a 10g SBus HV Servo just released, the S3777SV S.Bus2 HV Programmable Micro. That's what I'd use in a ship I cared about. A bit pricey at $45 a pop, but for the size & power, well worth it.

Last time I tried Futaba it was the HS-7115TH and let's just say I won't be going down the road of "expensive means good" again. Those servos where a pain in the proverbial as they burn out with only the slightest load on them.

Umm, HS-7115TH's are Hitec servos...IE budget servos with big prices.

Not sure how that maps to Futaba being not worth the money.

Ahh right you are but still the logic of expensive means good isn’t always true and the S3777SV is 11mm thick.

It would be great if the KST X08 was SBUS, that’s what the C2111 compares to.

I have to disagree, Hitec is not Budget stuff, they have budget stuff.

The HS-7115TH are hi-end gear, never heard otherwise...

Best!

I like and use Hitec servos, but they're what I install when I don't have the budget allocated to a build to put in proper hi-end stuff like MKS, JR, Futaba or similar. Their 'hi-end' stuff isn't bad, but you don't see that many red 4m competition sailplanes built with all-hitec stuff for a reason (and note I say this as a guy whose F3J ship has all-Hitec wings).

You would hear it from pretty much anyone flying F5B competitions who has tried those servos. Gerben put his B14 up for sale at the end of Geilenkirchen Eurotour as he had yet another failed servo.

Getting back to topic, anyone have the C2111 ?! Seems like out of stock always?
