We're off to Stratford upon Avon next week. Why not get the bike out and pop over for lunch with or without Mrs Ricardo?

Finally!!

Like that as well. Anyway I cancelled the order for silver solartex. I'll go with plain linen and paint it with solar lac. I am trying to get Carbon Copy to let me into their warehouse to try out cowls off the shelf

I used a stock round cowl, 7" in diameter. I ordered it 10" long so I could cut it to size. It ended up around 6.5 inches long.

That's a good looking machine Rich. I've only seen pics of your original blue one.

I got my cowl and wheel pants from Fiberglass Specialities.

http://www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com/

Here's the page with the cowls.

http://www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com/radial.htm

Their website is a bit odd. Up front they tell you that their work may have some flaws. Everything I have ever received from them has been immaculate. I think their warnings pertain to parts from very old kits. This cowl is a generic and most likely not that old. The wheel pants I used were excellent also. I've been very happy with their products on this and past projects.

A kind BMFA member has given me a link to an on line shop that makes all sorts of vac formed good stuff. I have never used them so have no idea of the quality.

Bryan, me again, looking back at the pictures of the engine installation, is that the adjustable nylon engine mount from Hobby King you are using?

Further inspiration for you Tim courtesy of Chris' ( Britinoz) example which so far is my favourite
