Plans search for the original SIG 1/2a Hummer...

Does anyone have or know where to get or download the original plans for the SIG 1.2a size HUMMER...?

One of my 'ole favorite trusty planes back in the day. Now that i'm older, have the time AND the money to get the 'good stuff' for it, i'd like to build up one all over again. Will post pics and share files of the build and flight as i go...

Plan is to build for speed... blazing speed. Certainly there will be a lot of modifications to it as it's converted from Nitro to electric. Will build in a testing 'foam' version first to work out all the kinks then on to the real deal in a balsa and monocoat build-up. Of course, a full share of everything my sons and i do with tons of build pics, custom files shared for it along with full HD pre-testing and flight performance. I've even got a friend who has a radar gun to capture it's flight speed top end after the kinks are worked out...

Interested...?

For those of you who haven't either owned one of these or flown one back in it's day, wow... it was a dream to fly and uber quick with one of the Cox 0.51 motors on it. MUST bring this one back converted into an electric version.

It was ultra snappy... but, predictable one it was trimmed out and FAST.

I am a nice guy! Really!
Try Sig. They still sell the kit. Maybe they will sell you the plans separately. Or you could buy the kit for the plans and send the rest to me.

Lol...
I have been considering going ahead and getting the whole kit again. I remember it being a really simple build. We'll see about shipping all those specially picked and cut parts to you... I might need them. Hahahahaha...

If you go to this site: http://www.sigmfg.com/cgi-bin/dpsmar...tsF.html?E+Sig

and enter "Hummer" in the second search line at the upper left you will see a list of Hummer parts including:

SIGKP250 SIG KIT PLAN RC-50 HUMMER $4.68 EACH $3.90 EACH

There is an info link there too but it just shows a picture of a Hummer. RC-50 is the kit number for the Hummer. Maybe contact Sig somehow and see if they sell the plan.

There are two Sig websites for some reason:

www.sigmfg.com

www.sigplanes.com

I was finally able to get to this page by a roundabout method:

http://www.sigmfg.com/cgi-bin/dpsmar...art.html?E+Sig

It looks like you could just enter in how many copies of the plans you want and add that to your order. $3.90 seems like a real good price.
