iSDT SC-608 150W 8A Balance Charger

Description:

Just spotted this iSDT SC-608 charger available to preorder on Banggood website. However I can't find any info regarding neither the charger nor the manufacturer online. After some google search only found out that it will also be available from other retailers like HobbyKing, HobbyWow or GoodLuckBuy.

It's not very powerful but it caught my interest primarily because of the screen/user interface. I don't think there will be any advanced settings, features or analysis available on this one though.

Specification looks fairly standard for this type of charger:

Max Charge Capacity: 150W

iSDT Q6 Plus 300W 14A MINI Pocket Balance Charger
And the 300W version has also been introduced. More details available at Banggood website. It should start shipping in Dec 2016.

All three chargers share most of the specification and only differ in power delivery and physical size. Pricing wise the 300W model sits right in the middle.

ISDT D2 200W/20A AC Dual Channel Smart Charger
The new kid on the block. Recently announced first ISDT AC charger with dual output. Doesn't quite fit here as all the other chargers are single channel with DC input. But I feel like we probably shouldn't ignore a new family member.

Size: 72.7 KB
Description:

- Charge Current: 0.1-10.0A x 2
- Discharge Current: 0.1-3.0A x 2
- Max Charge Capacity: 200W
- Max Discharge Capacity: 5W x 2
- Balancing Current: 1A/cell x 2
- Balance Cells: 2-6S x 2
- Supported Battery Type:
> LiFe/Lilon/LiPo/LiHv (1-6S)
> NiMH/Cd(1-16S)
> Pb(1-12S)

- Operating Temperature: 0 - 40C
- Storage Temperature: -20 - 60C
- Dimensions: 120 x 108 x 70 mm
- Weight: 510g (actual weight 555g without cable)

All ISDT chargers use the same great screen and the intuitive menu system.

The full review of the most powerful iSDT SC-620 is available here. It gives a good overview of the menu system and user interface which all 3 chargers share. For anyone interested in the ISDT D2 there is a review available here. It also includes information about the user interface and overview of the menus. There are a few differences as the D2 uses newer firmware and there have been a few small changes since I published the SC-620 review. Nothing major though.

Cheers. That looks interesting. (I assume we are talking about OCDAY DP6). Apart from being more powerful do you think it is based on the same platform?

i wonder if it comes with any cables? the ocday comes with cables and a balance board. If you have to buy the cables then its overpriced, but it does have a nice ips display.
Ithink its marketed for the 250 quad racers, its small and portable, so they can put it in there backpacks

Got my charger yesterday, built quality is great IMHO. Screen also looks great. Manual is in Chinese but it's easy to use no need manual actually hehe. It's small I can bring it anywhere in small pocket (for me it's a big plus). Completed charge are at 4.2V. Downside, don't have memory so you need setup for another battery type.
