Foam Safe light Sandable Primer

Can anyone recommend a light sandable primer that will not melt white foam on contact.

Thanks for your help

Any brush-on water-based poyurethane works fine; it appears milky in the can but dries clear. I just applied 2 coats (sanded in between) to my T33 ducting with no reaction, and there is no apparent weight gain. Rule of thumb: pick up the can. If you feel a hernia coming on, wrong stuff! I was amazed at the coverage (again less product =less weight), but I will soon see if it seals against other paints. The secret seems to be in the solvents and vehicles: if they recommend water for a thinner, it's ok, but most sprays have a propellant that attacks the foam, not the product itself.
